I saw it from afar inside the cave — glowing gold in the dark, it called to me.
I don't know what this plant is, but it's beautiful. Unnatural. And the way it glows... it almost feels like it wants to be found.
I've never seen anything like it. I have to know more.
I'm heading in now. If it's dangerous — so be it. Some things are worth the risk.

I'm right here before the entrance, trying to will myself forward. Pacing back and forth, but I just can't do it.
As much as those glowing plants fascinate me — just as much does the dark terrify me.
And it's not just the dark — the air feels thick with something I can't name.
Maybe I've stumbled onto a Shroud Lair.
I guess I'll never find out what it has to offer.
Maybe someone braver than me will dare to enter.
