2.Build A Flame Altar Recommended level 1

The Flame Altar will mark the spot for your base. In your base, you will later be able to craft and build shelter. Craft the Flame Altar and place it to establish your base.

You don't have to place your Altar in the plains. You can choose any above Shroud area to establish your base.
